Here’s what I’m doing.
I’m on a high-end nutritionist certified meal replacement plan (2 shakes/day replace 2 meals), and eating one real meal a day plus a couple of fruit or veggie snacks. No wheat. Almost no dairy (I use almond milk for the shakes). No refined sugar.
That meal has 4 – 8 ounces of lean protein, and two strongly colored veggie foods (broccoli, carrots, sweet potato, winter squash, spinach, etc). Any carbs are whole grain, like brown rice, quinoa, or brown rice pasta.
I “snack from the rainbow”, meaning fruits and veggies with lots of healthy anthocyanins. I take a multivitamin, multimineral supplement, and also 2 capsules of wild salmon oil daily.
I’m exercising 4 times a week, 3 cardio and 1 strength workout.
