Today was traffic day, and we spent probably an hour or more in traffic jams on our way to the Hana Highway. We stopped off at a scenic overlook and took photos of surfers, then continued up the Hana Highway to the Garden of Eden botanical gardens where we hiked around for an hour or so and took lots of pictures. The road is very lush and beautiful, with lots of ferny banks and places where the whole side of the road is tree roots coming down. We got into Hana about 5pm, stopped at Hasegawa’s…
