Today we toured around upland Maui. We went to two lovely botanical gardens, Sacred Gardens in Halliemaile and Kula Botanical Gardens in Kula. Sacred Gardens had a wonderful gravel and stone labyrinth behind their greenhouses, and we walked the labyrinth and meditated on what we would like for the coming year.
Then we continued up the road and went to the summit on Haleakala. The views were amazing. There was a little bit of cloud cover but overall we could see a lot.
