So I'm looking at this site that has a calculator where you enter your weight, a time, and pick an activity from the pulldown menu bar, and it tells you roughly how many calories i thinks you'll burn.
So I go through various activities which I enjoy and do, and find that by their calculation, one would burn as many calories with “Sexual activity (moderate effort)” as with “Raking grass or leaves”, but less than “Gardening” or “Dancing (social)”.
Grin.
Nice to see the mainstream world realizing there's more to it than looking at the ceiling and thinking of England. Now, if only they had numbers for “Flogging (top)” and “Flogging (bottom)”. Still, progress is progress!
