Relentless Inquiry

In the past couple of months, babies have been popping out all over! My friend and former co-worker Christina in Switzerland had her first this fall, then 's cutie came along, also her first; is a dad for I think the 3rd time as of a week or so ago. And this morning I logged in early and got an IM from my hoopy Rails guy down in Riverside, that he and his wife were on their way to the hospital. She's been having Braxton-Hicks for a few days, so it was any old time now.

I feel really glad for them all, and still a bit wistful. A year ago I would have been crying all day, so I'm making good progress on the whole “won't be doing that” thing.
