After being pretty useless last night, I decided enough was enough and didn't take the nightly CCB last night (calcium channel blocker). Boom. Woke up this morning feeling more or less 'normal' (whatever THAT means). Still have some chest cold symptoms, but not killer-dehydrated anymore.
I think putting me on that damn thing was silly, as my BP was good enough at my physical in Sept that she was thinking of taking me off the Avapro. I'd rather make time for 20 mins of cardio a day than have to go on disability because of stupid med interactions. I think I should start shopping for a new doctor. When I ended up in the ER in April, severely dehydrated after a problem with a flu bug going around, the ER doctor said I never should have been put on the strong diuretic that my doctor had me on, with my medical history. Wups.
The soggy saga continues, grrl vs medical system, can't we all just get along? Bah.
