I will need a strong intermediate sysadmin making the transition to senior. Primarily Linux experience– very non-MS-focused engineering shop. Start more or less asap, SF Bay Area only (no travel budget), for a monthly contract to hire position. W2 hourly, unless you are incorporated and/or have unemployment insurance proof. $40 – $75/hr depending on experience. Company has headcount starting Q1'07 and is using contracts to get a sense of people, so if you normally prefer an employee position, this could be for you.
Wish list: Xen virtualization experience under Linux, MySQL db admin basics or better, Perl scripting, Perforce, Bugzilla, a bit of sendmail and mailman.
