Thank you for your diligence and excellent representation in the US Congress.

I am writing today to urge you to oppose both S. 2453 and S. 2455. This country should not stand for secret wiretapping and the creation of an American KGB.

Please support efforts to cut funding on the NSA spying program. Some folks are saying “until you are provided with key facts and details about the program.” I’m saying, “nuke that sucker, period! Let’s not start spelling our country “Amerika.” That ‘Land of the Free’ sign is looking a bit tattered over the last few years, but you can do your part to polish up the ‘Home of the Brave’ sign by working hard to oppose domestic surveillance.

As far as I know, there’s no justification for warrantless wiretapping. No major threats have been exposed by it, no lives saved, no success stories. Just an ever-widening ring of paranoia such as this country hasn’t seen since the McCarthy era. Make it stop, please.
