On a trip to Costco yesterday afternoon, I spotted “In the Company of Cheerful Ladies”, one of Alexander Mccall Smith's novels about the Number One Ladies' Detective Agency. A second glance revealed they had volumes 1 – 6. At $7.99/ea, which is $2 less than Amazon.
The second squee is that, while reading the flyleaf of book 6, I became aware that there is a 7th book in the series now, “Blue Shoes and Happiness”. It won't be out in softcover for some time, but I can get on the list at the library to read it.
