Found this by accident this morning while researching something else. What a great example of one person doing something significant: affordable wheelchairs for the 3rd world, made of lawnchairs and bicycle parts.

OK, some of y'all may be offput by the 'mission' and religious stuff in the wrapper, but what these folks seem to be doing is totally awesome. Here, make one yourself. You don't have their pre-made parts kit, but you get the idea.
