This is, so far, the *only* TV show I've actually bothered to get on tape or DVD. Sure, there's stuff I'd like, but don't really want to spend the money for, like UFO or the Prisoner or Brother Cadfael or the Jeremy Irons' Sherlock Holmes stuff (and I never seem to get around to setting up BitTorrent, or Kazaa, or the whatever else source of the week).
Dunno why, but I'm just fascinated. Maybe if I'd watched Bab 5 enough to follow all the subplots I'd have gotten into it more. I guess part of the appeal of BG is that I know the story fairly well, having been a fan of the series in the 70's (and a vastly less discriminating consumer of SF media). So there's a fascination in seeing it done again, only much better, and in tracking details that may be important later. Like most of them seem to be. 🙂
