Set out to see one movie, but folks ended up wanting to see a different one, so we shifted to seeing “Charlie & the Chocolate Factory”. I thought from the trailers that I would only vaguely tolerate it, but in fact I liked it. Cool.
Two random tidbits about the movie (not spoilers): the same guy plays ALL the oompa-loompas, and omg, it's Martin “Space 1999” Landau, much much much older and with his signature bushy eyebrows temporarily tamed, playing one of the grandparents. Who knew?
/me feel OLD. Was Johnny Depp even *born* when I left highschool? Jeez.
