Relentless Inquiry

I was after snails. I think this little one was after slugs.

I saw him or her the two nights ago, briefly, by the fence. A few days after we moved in, back in late February, I saw one, but that one looked 'normal' to me, eg a blackish grey or greyish black with yellow spots. This one is just about earthworm pink. Here's a close-up. If your monitor is like mine, this is life-size (about 6 inches nose to tail).

Edit: Trying to find out anything about this visitor (maybe the pink is because he/she is an eft of a large species?), I found the California Giant. Swoon. Beeyoootiful!! But not my visitor.
