I've really missed my big LCD screen. We put it in storage when we left on our rollabout in May 2002. When we returned in May 2003, I let Mike use it for his linux box and just continued to use my laptop.
I now have a 20-inch iMac G5 as a desktop, and it's a very, very nice thing to have large fonts and a lot of screen real-estate again. My 12-inch TiBook is nice, but it's great to be back on the big screen again….and to have a box that just stays home and stays set up, all the time.
I am also really enjoying using some of my pix as backgrounds on the big screen. Right now I have a nice tidepool pic that I took at Point Pinos in Monterey last year. Happy!
