The move from heck may actually be completed, kinda sorta mostly.
We locked up the building at a little after midnight, after having thought we were done by 11pm (taking a break from 9:30 to 11 to go to Flames for a late dinner), only to remember that ONE server we hadn't re-racked due to the evil connector-fu on the Adaptec RAID card.
Got home, promised to restart/reload autofs on all the boxen via the VPN. VPN import was not working. Turns out PCF files are text. Thank G-d. Mac OS VPN client does not DTRT with importing a PCF if the 'description' field is blank. So I added one, and lo, on the net.
Homedirs not coming up clean, so reboot the homedir NFS server again *after* having whacked autofs on the boxen. Finally.
Now I get to go to sleep. And see what tomorrow brings.
Since I was down almost all of Tuesday with a screwed up chiro situation, and couldn't justify billing more than a half day, this was 'only' a 61 hour week.
Ten thousand blessings on the J-sters, for pitching in with much-needed assistance and moral support. Yeah, it was billable, but only true buds would have been there to log it! Eleven thousand blessings, ten thousand isn't enough. J-sub-i, I will get you a glossy n by m of the IDF cabling, most excellent. J-sub-e, will give ya a ring tomorrow (today, ugh!) about finishing that NIS install.
