Relentless Inquiry

My mom's cat Ebony is in the emergency vets with an IV and very low kidney function. He's still a pretty young cat, just around 6 years old. Apparently he had a urethra blockage and then secondary infection. He's her best buddy — she got him just a couple of weeks after my Dad passed away in Jan 2000 and having him has really helped her cope. (Dad's lung problems meant they had a house full of air filters and couldn't have any pets for the last few years of his life.)

Last update was his kidney functions still looked lousy, but they'd do another panel after the weekend. 😦
